Halibut

Halibut

from $595.00

The Halibut was originally made for flat beach riding and technical variations; the flatter entry-rocker and planing surface specifically designed to keep it flowing through the flats.

Because of its wide, rounded tail, this board has tons of pop for airs and spin tricks. The nose of the Halibut resembles the tail of a typical board, which is particularly useful for trick variations initiated off the nose while riding backwards.

The shorter nose and tail allows for faster spinning, making it the ideal board for fine tuning your bigger spins and 540 shuv-its. If you like siders, liners, and are looking to get creative on flat-medium sized days, the Halibut is for you.

All boards are handmade by Paul Wade in San Clemente, California. Built to endure years of use, they’re made with carbon fiber and e-glass baked in an epoxy matrix. Cores are shaped from high density foam. Boards are generally 3/4” under the front foot and tapered to 5/8” on the nose and tail unless otherwise requested. Tapering can vary depending on rider’s weight.
